2Pac Bodyguard an FBI Agent |
Chicago Radio Personality Nikki Woods reports TUPAC SHAKUR’S FORMER BODYGUARD: Former Death Row Records bodyguard Kevin Hackie made a startling admission during a Q&A following a screening of the new movie, Tupac: Assassination - Conspiracy or Revenge? Hackie, who worked as security for Death Row and Tupac Shakur from 1992 to 1996, admitted during the panel discussion in Los Angeles on Tuesday (October 16th) that he was actually an undercover FBI agent and not an informant as had been previously reported. Shakur was shot on September 6th, 1996 in a drive-by shooting and he died seven days later on September 13th. According to Hackie, arrests will be made for Shakur’s murder as well as for that of the Notorious B.I.G.,who was shot and killed in Los Angeles in March of 1997. During various court proceedings, Hackie has testified that he had “personal knowledge” about B.I.G.’s murder and that people within Death Row offered $25,000 dollars to a law enforcement officer to carry out the slaying. Hackie has also testified that former officer David Mack and several other LAPD officers worked for Death Row Records. According to Hackie, Shakur was murdered because Marion “Suge” Knight allegedly owed him millions in unpaid royalties. Hackie has denied some of the statements attributed to him. He points a finger at the legal team of the Notorious B.I.G.’s family because they’re currently involved in a wrongful death lawsuit against the Los Angeles Police Department. Hackie said, “My statements were taken out of context. Some things in there I never even said. They added them in.” Tupac: Assassination - Conspiracy or Revenge? will be available on DVD on October 23rd |
